Thanks for writing. These broken computers are a real pain. My printer went 3 weeks ago and could not be repaired. So I bought a new printer which was not compatible with my computer! That meant to either clean everything from my old computer or get a new one. The Dell computer was on sale at Wal-Mart so I got one and had the computer guy from church install it. All is well but April was an expensive month! Anyway, I am glad you are online again!
I will be 67 this summer and do not feel or look it. The genes can do us a lot of good or harm. Mine likely bring a lot of good. Both of my parents' families lived to be very old (90s) and looked good and were alert right up to the end. None had lingering illnesses, either.
I am a retired teacher and librarian. I knew I was gay from an early age and finally met my partner when I was 37 and he was 52. We were together for 27 years until he died of prostate cancer in 2005. The time went very quickly as we had a great relationship. Never one serious argument and we never went to bed cross with each other. We were totally open with each other and our relationship was monogamous. We loved each other so much that we didn't want to endanger our relationship by playing around. We never missed it.
I'd like to get partnered again. I have a small but nice home on the Saranac River in northern NYS not far from Lake Champlain. Snow here in the winter but lovely in the summer. 80 degrees today! I have my yard all raked and will have the garden spot rototilled soon. I would be happy to share my home with the right man.
I am mostly retired, do some consulting work for pay and a lot of volunteer work: my church, Hospice, Palliative Care, Humane Society, the Democratic party. My former partner's sister and brother in law are older and need a lot of transportation as they do not drive out of the area for appointments. So, I drive them. We are good friends. '
'
I like old things, dishes, furniture and flea markets in general. Also gardening (flowers and vegetables) and local travel in NYS and Vermont.
How does all of this sound to you, MIke? Like to visit during the summer? You are welcome to do so. My best to you this evening. If you'd like to speak on the phone, my number is 518-293-7528.
I'd like to chat with you. My email is: mrtabbytabby@yahoo.com. I am a gay widower, interested in getting partnered again. I was partnered for 30 years til Larry died from cancer.
Joe
